Terms and Conditions


The lodging of your cat at our premises is subject to the following conditions:

  1. Your cat must have the current, valid vaccination certificate F3* issued at least fourteen days before the day of arrival. (This ensures that your cat and the others at our facility are protected from possibly contagious diseases).
  2. We accept normal duty of care for your cat including its feeding and security during its stay but are not liable for any medical issues that may arise during the cat’s stay with us.
  3. If your cat has a pre-existing medical condition that needs medication during its stay with us you must leave precise instructions, the medication and equipment for us to manage its condition. We will not be liable for deterioration in their medical condition.
  4. If any non-pre-existing medical condition arises for your cat, we will contact you as soon as possible for your instructions as to how you want the cat’s medical issues dealt with. Any treatment and medication required in such an event will be at the expense of the owner.
  5. In the event that you or your alternative contact are not reachable we will take your cat to the nominated veterinary practice at the owner’s expense.
  6. Payment for your cat’s stay is due on the day of arrival at the price per day in force at the time. (Please note we DO NOT have credit card facilities so please pay in cash).
  7. The cattery is open for arrivals and departures at the following times: Normal working days: Morning: 9.00 to 10.30 or 4 to 5.30 arrivals, Afternoon 4.00 to 5.30 (departures only) Public holiday periods: Due to high demand at Easter and Christmas please book early.  At those times please ensure your pet can be dropped off on the last working day before the public holiday and arrange for its collection  on the last day of the public holiday or thereafter. At those times we request that you  pay in full for your pet’s stay at the time you make your booking to ensure its  accommodation is secured. If you wish to reserve a place for your cat ahead of time during other peak periods ( such as school holidays) you will need to lodge a non-refundable deposit of $50, at the time you make the booking, to secure its accommodation.
  8. We can also arrange to pick up your pet and return it at the end of its stay, for an additional fee . Please arrange this with us when you make your booking if you require this service.
